More Painted Jewelry Boxes

All I know is we just turned the clocks back, and here it is almost Thanksgiving! For the first time in many years, we are hosting Turkey Dinner for the family. Vintage Humidor Makeover


I bought this vintage humidor cabinet a few months ago. I like all the detail on the legs and cabinet door. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door and found the copper interior. It’s a humidor cabinet, used for storing cigars.

Summer-inspired Tray Makeovers

Our monthly local vintage flea market is only a 15-minute drive from home. Vendors line the aisles with wonderful “trash to treasures.” A few months ago, I bought these two lap trays, with the short metal foldout legs. We used trays like this when we were kids when we were sick and got to eat in bed.
