I bought this vintage humidor cabinet a few months ago. I like all the detail on the legs and cabinet door. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door and found the copper interior. It’s a humidor cabinet, used for storing cigars.
This is an old small side table I found at a thrift shop when on vacation. It has those vintage spindle legs, and a hidden drawer. It deserved a drab-to-fab makeover, and that is exactly what I gave her.
I have a sweet spot for sewing boxes. Not the modern fabric-covered cutesy ones, but the wooden type from our Mom’s and Grandmother’s generations. I found this one at a thrift store while in Ventura last month, and I knew it had great potential to turn into something scrumptious.
A rainy day here in Southern California, is a wonderful, yet rare occurrence. Today is just one of those dreary-but-great-to-stay-indoors kinda day. So I grabbed a cup of tea and a few wafer cookies, and sat on my bed writing this post.
